Known for his sweetness of tone and committed performances, Zahid is establishing himself as an agile singing actor. He recently made his debut in the title role of Gerald Barry’s The Importance of Being Earnest with Garsington Opera. 

Recent engagements include Mormon/Housemate in Oliver Leith’s Last Days with Royal Opera House, cover Boy Angel in Du Yun’s Angel’s Bone with English National Opera, Young Man in the world premiere of Will Todd’s Angels on the Underground with The Sixteen, Tamino in Die Zauberflöte, Die Hexe in Hänsel und Gretel and Mr Upfold in Albert Herring (RAO), cover Jaquino in Fidelio (Garsington Opera), Lucano and First Soldier in L’incoronzione di Poppea (English Touring Opera), Officer and cover Scaramuccio in Ariadne auf Naxos (Garsington Opera), Tenor Soloist in Lost and Found (Royal Opera House), and Tenor Soloist in Light - Bach Dances (Royal Danish Opera). 

He has also appeared as a soloist with Britten Sinfonia, London Mozart Players, Concerto Copenhagen, Odense Symphony Orchestra, and the City of London Sinfonia.
